    We are looking for a Ssr Python React Developer for one of our important clients. 

    Reports to: Senior Developer

    Job Overview: Assist our client’s Senior Developer with expanding and maintaining the full stack of their new web (mobile responsive) application. They work with a contracted team of two part-time developers who help on their front end (React-Material UI), so this position will at first focus more on backend work (React – Django API – Posgres db), and then can move toward front-end work if interested.

    Responsibilities:
    ● Developers are asked to commit to a once-weekly video/audio check-in and to maintain good communication over Slack and Trello on the days they are working.

    under-penetrated market.

    About the job:
    They are seeking a 3⁄4 or full-time coder who can assist their Senior Developer with expanding and
    maintaining the full stack of their new web (mobile responsive) application. They work with a contracted team of two part-time developers who help on their front end (React-Material UI), so this position will at first focus more on backend work (React – Django API – Posgres db), and then can move toward front-end work if interested. Their application is served through Elastic Beanstalk for the moment, so they do not need assistance with server maintenance and deployment/CI is set up by their Lead Developer. Their architecture and coding patterns are already in place, so this work will be a matter of replicating and adjusting those to two other
    interfaces that need to be served by their (Django REST framework) API.

    They are working in modern React and JavaScript – using ES6 and React’s new Hooks functionality for classless components, in conjunction with the Context API rather than Redux for speed and simplicity. They’re looking for a developer who has already started using the new functionality, or who is interested in updating to it. Candidates must have built at least one React application and have experience serving it from API calls.

    The four-person (five including you!) dev team is managed by their Lead Developer, who is located in New York City and has 11 years of experience working with remote teams distributed across the country (and the world!). They work with their front-end assisting developers through a Washington DC contact point, over phone or video/screen share. They primarily manage tasks through Trello, Slack, and Github, but don’t require prior experience with these. Developers are asked to commit to a once-weekly video/audio check-in and to maintain good communication over Slack and Trello on the days they are working.

    Benefits and compensation:
    ● This is a 100% remote, full-time position with all U.S. holidays off
